Community Conversation and Potluck on Youth and Children

Tuesday, April 28^th at 6:30 p.m.

 In February, First Baptist Church in Essex had a half-day retreat in which we decided to have a series of community conversations and potlucks on specific areas of interest as a way to listen, learn and discern what direction God is calling us to go in as a church.

The potluck on April 28^th will focus on youth and children.  We will hear from local non-profits and schools as a way to learn about ongoing programming, practical needs of families and opportunities for relationship-building.  We will consider ways we might create and support authentic and spiritual experiences for young people.

This potluck invites us to look toward the future, dream dreams together and discern ways we might continue the great work to which God has called us.
