*There will be no Arts and Crafts Fair in 2022.*

For the past 26 years, the First Baptist Church in Essex has sponsored a juried Annual Arts and Craft Fair on the Essex Town Green.  Both locals and visitors to the area enjoy shopping the 60+ booths that fill the Town Green with unique, handcrafted artwork.  Admission is free to the public.

Essex is located on the Connecticut River, about four miles north of Long Island Sound.  Easy to reach from any direction, Essex is also the home of the very popular Essex Steam Train and has had the distinction of being voted “The Best Small Town in America.”

What: 27th Annual Arts and Crafts Fair

When: Saturday, August 19th, 2019, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

GPS Location Address:  12 Main Street, Essex (this is the Post Office address which is located next to the Town Green).

  1. We attended the fair this weekend for the first time and had a great time, we will be regulars! One of the crafters was selling a children’s book about Monster Boy. He was from New Orleans and we forgot to get a business card and wanted to buy a book. Can you help us?

  3. I was a first time vendor at this show last year (2018). Even with the rain I loved the community that attended the show. I will definitely be a returning vendor with my handmade notebooks/journals and bags from repurposed blue jeans. I truly hope the taco salad will be on the menu again, it was amazing!!! Pray for sunshine☀️
