*There will be no Arts and Crafts Fair in 2022.*
For the past 26 years, the First Baptist Church in Essex has sponsored this juried Annual Arts and Craft Fair on the Essex Town Green. Both locals and visitors to the area enjoy shopping the 60+ booths that fill the Town Green with unique, handcrafted artwork. Admission is free to the public.
Essex is located on the Connecticut River, about four miles north of Long Island Sound. Easy to reach from any direction, Essex is also the home of the very popular Essex Steam Train and has had the distinction of being voted “The Best Small Town in America.”
What: 27th Annual Arts and Crafts Fair
When: Saturday, August 19th, 2019, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
GPS Location Address: 12 Main Street, Essex (this is the Post Office address which is located next to the Town Green).
We are accepting applications for 2019. Please be sure to read the “2019 Arts and Craft Fair Information for Applicants” before completing the online application.
Step One: Read the 2017 Arts and Craft Fair Information for Applicants
Step Two: Complete the Application for the 27th Annual Arts and Crafts Fair.
Step Three: Send in your payment to secure your site.

I loved my location last year but because some of my items are heavy and having Rheumatoid Arthritis I was inquiring if you were able to put me at a site closer to the parking lot I would be greatly appreciative. I know I’m rather new to this fair and I understand if you have to make accommodations to your returning crafters. Thank you in advance. I will be sending a check within next 2 wks.
