Moving Our Prayers Together – An Interplay Approach InterPlay offers us simple forms and incremental steps toward moving our prayer life into the physical realm. There is a sacred bond formed and a heightened Divine Presence felt when we pray together and witness to one another.

Prayer is central to every faith tradition, and InterPlay, although not a religious practice is rooted in the belief that all life is sacred and connected. All are welcome!

We will learn basic and easy ways to move and pray on behalf of ourselves, our personal relationships, the Earth and world issues, together, as a community. We will use basic movement vocabulary and our words and voices to lift up to God that which we hold, celebrate and carry. We each have the capacity to enrich our prayer life by being more physically present in the process. No particular ability or skill is necessary to practice InterPlay.

Lisa Laing has been practicing embodied prayer, using various InterPlay forms, for fourteen years and wishes to share this opportunity with YOU. Church goers (or not), friends and community members are invited.

Please gather in Helen Henry Fellowship Hall at First Baptist Church in Essex, CT (side door) at 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. First and third Saturdays: March 7, 21, April 4, 18, May 2, 16.
