Refreshing Relevant Worship
Welcome! We seek to experience God’s Spirit as we worship, explore, and discover together - seeking to be in relationship with God and obedience to Jesus Christ.
Our goal is to create an atmosphere where each individual is free to worship in ways which draw them closer to God. You are welcome to sing or to just listen, to stand or to sit, to pray with your eyes open or closed, to be an observer or to actively participate in the worship experience, etc.
Our worship service will be a little different each week - so be prepared for the unexpected. However, the following will always be a part of our worship experiences:
† Prayer † Scripture † Music † Message
If you desire a more traditional worship experience, try our 10:00 Sunday morning service!

What's up with the name Friday Fishwrap???
Good question! You'd be hard pressed to find a dictionary that will give you a definition - but if you Google the word, you'll see that there are a number of websites with the word Fishwrap as a part of their name. Anyway, the word fishwrap is sort of a slang word that sometimes refers to a newspaper with such low credibility and standards that is is considered only useful to wrap fresh fish. So what does this word have to do with what happens at the church on Friday nights @ 8 p.m.? Well, we live in a world where we're constantly bombarded with stuff that really isn't reliable or worthwhile.- essentially stuff that's only good for wrapping fresh fish in. Now, you may or may not know, but an early Christian symbol of faith was the fish - a secret code that cued other Christians that the person who drew the fish was a follower of Christ. Okay, so putting this all together....We gather together on Fridays, bringing with us all the baggage and garbage of the week. During our time of worship, we seek to renew our faith in God and to be refreshed. In doing so, we seek to find relevant connections between the world in which we live and God's call for us to minister and serve. The whole business of faith and ministry can be pretty messy so as we leave on Fridays, we wrap our faith in the fishwrap we brought with us and take everything home, There, the garbage is tossed away, and we are left with our fresh faith - ready to be savored and shared with others. Well, we'll wrap this up by saying, "On Fridays, bring your fishwrap with you - God wiill know what to do with it!"
