This virtual will start on May 23.  It will meet Mondays at 7 p.m. for nine weeks, skipping July 4.  It will meet for 1.5 hours.

The course takes a life-altering look at what it means to be white, using the words of Black writers and directors to give us a mirror. What makes the course transformational is the process that accompanies it, which includes a racial biography, art, silent meditation, and personal reflection.

While it does require work, that work creates meaningful change.  The course asks for participants to do 1-2 hours of reading or viewing each week. I can send you the syllabus. The syllabus is mostly movies, but there is one short book and several short articles that are part of the curriculum.
